Daily tank charges include the following services: 

AAHL specific SOP training
Routine preparation of tanks (aeration, water, temp control, standpipes, lids)
General husbandry (once per day health check, once per day feed wtih BioOregon standard diet)
Animal life support

Services beyond these can be provided on a rechargeable hourly basis.  Contact us for an estimated cost of your project.

BSL2 CONTAINMENT DRY LABORATORY:  $11/DAY.  Facilities lease for BSL2 room includes exclusive use of room, biosafety cabinet (certification service, decontamination), waste stream autoclave/incineration and disposal, etc.

 HOURLY STUDENT SUPPORT:  $15/DAY.  This support is provided for requested project assistance.  May include:  animal care and husbandry, health checks, feeding, tank set-up, cleaning and disinfecting and collection of samples if needed.

 TECHNICIAN/STAFF SUPPORT:  $42/HOUR.  This support is provided for requested project assistance.  May include:  husbandry health checks, feeding, tank set-up, cleaning and disinfecting, and collection of fish samples, and filtering of water samples if needed. 

May also include assistance with ACUPs, literature searches, minor procedures (tagging, necropsy, tissue collection, formalin or hydrogen peroxide treatments, bacterial streaks, etc.).  May also include experimental set-up; fabrication and/or minor plumbing changes.
